    The study highlighted that the Kingdom in General and in the East particularly promising investment opportunities and numerous domestic and foreign investment to promote these opportunities established clusters sponsoring these investments by providing requirements of infrastructure and human resources, capital, technology and other requirements. The study indicates that the volume of industrial output in the Kingdom during the year amounted to 279.5 billion, contributing over 10 of GDP and growth rate of 10.9 percent compared with the previous year, the number of workers in the industrial sector in the Kingdom by the end of 2012 to 768.4 thousand workers, with the bulk of them are concentrated in the non-metallic mineral products ' activity ' by about 18, followed by activity ' food products ', which employs 15 workers in the industrial sector, comes in third activity 'Metal ' by 12, and the three combined for 45 of the total employed in the industrial sector in the Kingdom.
